The 4 Quarters Festival (4QF) is an independent event organised and run by Bran Oakwood on behalf of Out of Kontrol Productions. 4QF is a new festival but we are not new to organising events. Since 2011 we've been running theatre shows and festival events around the UK. We do not have sponsors as this detracts from the spirit of the festival, we really are a true to the cause independent event, run by those who follow the old ways, for people who follow the old ways. Of course you don't have to be a pagan or heathen to attend, we are all inclusive regardless of religion, colour, age, race or gender. The festival promotes tolerance and peace to all. So here are a few things that maybe useful to know as you plan your trip.
The festival gates open to attendees from 6pm on the 11th June. NO tickets will be available on the gate. Please do not arrive before this time as there is no facility to hold traffic until the gate opens and the conditions of our license will not allow waiting on the road, you will be moved on by our traffic marshals. The festival officially opens at 4pm on the 12th but there will be a lot going on before hand. It finishes at 6pm on Sunday 14th but again there will still be things going on until 9pm when all activities stop. Camping and campers must be off site by 1pm on Monday 15th. The festival is strictly drug free and no alcohol will be allowed onto the main arena except for the use in ritual. The festival is also meat free, please respect the wishes of the organiser's. Many of our workshops and talks/lectures are provided free of charge but are on a first come first served basis, and should be booked on arrival. The organiser's cannot be held responsible for changes in the program or availability of workshops as occasionally things beyond our control happen. It is your own responsibility to look after and protect your valuables as any large scale events will and do sometimes attract thieves. The organiser's cannot therefore be held responsible for any loss. Please make sure you come prepared with supplies for the three days, but there will be a shop selling a small range of items located near the information/first aid tent. There are plenty of things to spend your money on, and whilst some vendors accept cards, not all do and there is no cash machines on site. A film crew and stills photographer will in attendance during the 3 days.
But most of all.. enjoy the festival.
We will have a social media account for you to post pictures during the festival. Our own photographers will also be on hand
